DENVER - Avalanche warnings are being sent out around the state this week, after a bout of sunshine and snowfall complicated conditions on the mountains this weekend.

The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says most of the state will be under a 'considerable' warning.

Experts say a majority of recent avalanches are occurring near the Front Range now, due to the massive snow storms we saw the last two weeks.

One person was killed in an avalanche on Cameron Pass in Northern Colorado Saturday.

The victim was snowboarding with a friend, who was also injured in the slide.

The victims were snowboarding near Paradise Bowl on Cameron Pass.
