KUSA - Fresh snow is giving the ski season a major boost as it begins its final few weeks.
February and March have brought the best snow of the season.
The Mountain Travel Research Program looks at lodging numbers at resorts around the country. It's reporting that lodging occupancy soared in February.
In Breckenridge, lodging numbers this season are up 5 percent over last year.
Next week, sales tax numbers will come out in Breckenridge. It's expected they will also show positive signs that the ski industry is recovering.
