DENVER (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 29-year-old taxi driver who was killed in a crash near Denver's City Park on Monday morning.
The Denver medical examiner says Junior Soko was killed when a car went through a red light and struck his cab. The Denver Post reports a 62-year-old man riding in the cab, along with two men and a woman in the other vehicle, were seriously injured.
Police says alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
Soko has two daughters, ages 11 and 13.
Yellow Cab has set up a Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo location by mentioning the "Junior Soko Memorial Fund." 100% of all donations will go to his family to help care for his children. Big or small, all donations are appreciated.
