DENVER - The Baha Men - a popular 1990s reggae band - probably weren't talking about a traffic-jam when they asked the immortal question 'Who let the dogs out?'
Nevertheless, it became a question numerous Colorado drivers asked themselves Wednesday morning when they found themselves trapped in a gridlock on C-470 as they waited for a Colorado State Patrol officer to coral a loose dog that had darted out onto the highway.
The dog was eventually herded off to a nearby greenbelt. Douglas County Animal Control was patrolling the area looking for the dog.
"No charges have been filed on the dog...yet," joked CSP Spokesman Nate Reid in an email.
Thanks to viewer Jonathan Lee for sending us photos of the incident.
