4th season of 'Heroes' brings new challenges to characters
|
KUSA - Imagine being able to fly, to manipulate time, or to read other's thoughts. Those are the special abilities some characters on NBC's "Heroes" possess. Monday night's new episode brings a few new surprises, as the fourth season continues. ![]() For those not familiar with the award-winning drama, "Heroes" depicts how ordinary people with some extraordinary powers go through their daily lives. While their special abilities give them a unique outlook, they are not immune to life's challenges. Last week's episode ("Strange Attractors") left us with the heroes trying to save everyone without the use of their powers. On Monday's new episode ("Once upon a time in Texas"), Hiro (Masi Oka) will get a second chance to save the love of his life, Charlie (guest star Jayma Mays). Hiro travels into the past and has the chance to save Charlie from Sylar (Zachary Quinto). However, Hiro's goal might be threatened with the presence of Samuels (Robert Knepper). Also in the new episode, H.R.G.'s (Jack Coleman) past is explored a bit, including insight behind his relationship with his Primatech partner (guest star Elizabeth Rohm). Guest stars Danielle Savre, Sally Champlin and Dawn Olivieri also appear in this episode. "Heroes" has received more than a dozen acclaimed awards and nominations. Creator and writer Tom Kring ("Crossing Jordan") brings viewers the show, which also stars Hayden Panettiere, Sendhil Ramamurthy and James Kyson Lee. This season begins with the volume entitled "Redemption," which depicts the challenges the heroes face adjusting back to normal life. Check out "Heroes" tonight on Ch. 9 at 8 p.m. MST.
