DENVER - You are all heroes. 9NEWS held its 27th annual 9Cares Colorado Shares Winter Drive on Saturday, where Coloradans from all walks of life donated food, clothing, toys and cash to 32 total drop-off sites throughout the state.

This year's food drive has wrapped up, but you can still make an online donation by visiting http://www.9news.com/life/community/events/fooddrives/winter

Also, you can still donate food at King Soopers locations throughout the state and all American Furniture Warehouse stores in Colorado.

While totals have not yet been tallied, we are looking to beat last year's record of 220 tons of food and $111,300.

Thank you for helping your community!

All donations stay in the local community. Cash and checks are accepted for monetary donations. Checks should be made out and mailed to 9NEWS 500 Speer Blvd, Denver CO 80203.

Food collected in the Denver Metro area is being sorted by our COMPA Food Bank Ministry partner and will be distributed to more than 110 local food banks and pantries in the 9Cares networks.

Clothing donated will be collected by ARC Thrift and Goodwill, which will in turn provide local clothing banks with vouchers to visit participating locations. Toys collected will be given to less fortunate families via the Denver Santa Claus Shop and their affiliates.

9Cares Colorado Shares is the largest one-day food, clothing and toy drive in the region. With your help we can serve even more people this year.
