Now, with social media often abuzz during the speech, the White House decided to have an interactive State of the Union address. The President is encouraging viewers to use the hashtag #SOTU while the speech is going on.

Immediately following the President's speech Tuesday night, anyone can go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/state-of-the-union-2012 and participate in the live panel featuring senior White House advisors who will address questions.

On Monday, President Obama will join the interactive conversation via a Google+ hangout from the White House. You can submit your questions via the White House YouTube channel between now and Jan. 28. Use the hashtag #WHChat if you want to submit your questions via Twitter.

Around 7 p.m. Tuesday, sort through graphics, data and statistics addressed in the State of the Union address.
