In the past, Colorado has served up some tough competition and even one winner, Hosa Rosenberg, on Bravo's Top Chef. For the first time in the popular reality show's history, Top Chef held an open casting-call in Denver at Linger. "Chef'testants" were required to fill out a 25-page application, write a menu, make a video and go before a casting crew to even be considered for the show's upcoming 10th season.

Roughly 30 chefs, mostly men, and from across the Denver area filled the bar at Linger throughout the afternoon on Wednesday, while groups of three were taken downstairs for interviews.

The show's casting director says the chef'testants who make it to the next round will get a phone call sometime in the next two months. While Colorado had several contestants make the show, so far none have been from Denver.
