The commercial pays tribute to the classic 80s film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

In the movie, Broderick's character feigns illness to get out of going to school. In the commercial, Broderick fakes being sick to get out of going to work as an actor.

Last week a 10-second teaser was released and generated millions of views on YouTube. It's the most talked about Super Bowl commercial and hasn't even aired yet.

An executive at Honda says you'd be surprised at who came up with the concept - people who were toddlers when the movie was released 26 years ago.

"These creatives that brought it up were in their late twenties, and it was like a right of passage to watch 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,'" Honda Brand Manager Tom Peyton said. "So we said, 'boy, this is really something here, this is a great film that has the right message.'"

Honda has released a full version of the commercial that clocks in at a whopping 2 minutes and 25 seconds.

The version that will air during the Super Bowl is one minute long.
