At Stapleton's Central Park, Alex Zonca was ready with his sled. However, with all the blowing snow, he couldn't really see where he was going.
"Even if my hat wasn't in the way, I probably couldn't see," he said.
Not all children wanted to play outside in the snow. At the Big Time Trampoline Fun Center in Arvada, a little boy named Pasqual and his sister were having a blast, even though it means they will have to get a make-up day in school.
