The kids, students at Kory Elementary School, took advantage of the snow day to complete a community service project.
They set up their hot chocolate stand on the sidewalk and in two hours accomplished two things.
They had a lot of fun and raised money for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.
The stand was very popular with the neighbors and the kids sold quite a few cookies and cups of hot chocolate.
The only problem - people driving down the street had trouble finding a place to park where they could get out again with all the snow.
