They are the first place team in this quarter's Stock Market Experience, a competition that teaches Colorado students about investing by letting them buy into stocks with fake money.
The Liberty High students realized a 40% return. 9NEWS Business Anchor Gregg Moss interviewed a few of them on the morning show, along with Experience standouts from the DPS' Denver Center For International Studies School and Adams 12's Rocky Top Middle School.
The rules are simple. Students are broken into teams
and work together to create the best stock portfolio
with a $100,000 dollar stake. All teams in Colorado compete against one another for top honors.
