Prep football playoff projections (UPDATED 11/11)

Here are the Massey Matchup predictions for this weekend's playoff football games.

These are based on a mathematical formula calculated by Ken Massey, an American sports statistician well-known for his development of a methodology for ranking and rating sports teams in a variety of sports. His ratings have been a part of the Bowl Championship Series since its inception.

Each week, we'll update the projections to see how any upsets during the weekend affect the brackets.

Last week, we had 24 playoff games in 1A and 5A and the Massey projections were correct in 22 OUT OF THE 24!!!

This week, we have the projected scores for all brackets, including updated projections which take last week's games into account.
