ENGLEWOOD (AP) - Denver Broncos rookie linebacker Spencer Larsen is having to show off a wide range of skills.

The team's sixth-round draft choice lined up at fullback in practice today.

Larsen is listed third on the depth chart at middle linebacker, but coach Mike Shanahan says it's possible Larsen could be on offense in the preseason game with Houston on Saturday.

The Broncos have only two healthy fullbacks, Cecil Sapp and Michael Pittman, and Larsen says Pittman is nursing a minor hamstring injury.

Second string fullback, Peyton Hillis, missed his third day with an injured left hamstring.

The Broncos have a light workout set for tomorrow before departing for Houston.
