KUSA - What was supposed to be a normal Friday night football game, has become so much more, thanks to a special effort by Fort Lupton High School.
Valley High School and the Blue Devils were supposed to kickoff Friday night, however, Valley is one of the many schools that have been affected by the floods and reached out to Fort Lupton in hope of rescheduling the game for Saturday night.
Fort Lupton not only agreed to reschedule the game, but they decided to donate all of the schools gate sales from the contest Saturday night and donate them to the flood victims of Weld County, while inviting them all to attend.
The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. at Fort Lupton High School and all those in the area are encouraged to take in a great game and support an even better cause.
