GREELEY (AP) - Tevin Svihovec had 34 points and Emmanuel Addo added 13 to lead Northern Colorado to an 81-73 victory against Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo on Saturday night.
Mike Proctor and Paul Garnica scored 11 points each for the Bears (8-17) in a BracketBusters game. Proctor added 10 rebounds.
Chris Eversley had 18 points and seven rebounds and Dylan Royer 16 points for the Mustangs (15-12).
Addo's 3-point shot with 8:40 remaining gave Northern Colorado the lead for good, 57-56. Eight straight points on a layup by Svihovic and six free throws stretched the cushion to 67-58, and Cal Poly got no closer than four points afterward.
