Tulsa, OK (Sports Network) - James Woodard scored 22 points for the
Tulsa Golden Hurricanes as they earned a 63-57 victory over the Buffalo Bulls
at the Reynolds Center.
Woodard was 8-of-14 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds as the Golden
Hurricanes (8-6) picked up their second win in three games. Scottie Haralson
added 10 points and four assists while Pat Swilling Jr. scored 11 points off
the bench.
Javon McCrea led the way for Buffalo (5-9) with 22 points and 11 rebounds as
the Bulls lost for the second time in three outings. Will Regan was the only
other Buffalo player to score in double-figures as he finished with 13 points
while Auraum Nuiriankh also had a big impact on the boards with 11 rebounds.
Tulsa led 26-24 at halftime after both teams shot under 40.0 percent from the
field in the opening 20 minutes of action.
In the second half, both teams continued their struggles from the field but
the Bulls shot at just a 28.6 percent efficiency and were outscored 37-33.
Buffalo was 32.2 percent from the floor while Tulsa shot 39.3 percent, taking
the win.
