Durham, NC (Sports Network) - Rasheed Sulaimon connected on six 3-pointers en
route to a game-high 25 points as No. 1 Duke remained undefeated at Cameron
Indoor Stadium this season with an 84-64 victory over Maryland. All five Duke
starters scored double figures, as Mason Plumlee finished with 19 points and
seven rebounds, Seth Curry dropped in 13 points and Amile Jefferson and
Quinn Cook netted 11 apiece for the Blue Devils (17-2, 4-2 ACC), who were
coming off a 90-63 throttling by Miami-Florida on Wednesday. Dez Wells and
Charles Mitchell each scored 13 points to pace Maryland (15-5, 3-4), which has
dropped four of its last six games. Alex Len added eight points and 10
rebounds in defeat.

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Villanova might want to schedule all of
its games at the Wells Fargo Center. The Wildcats welcomed their second top-
five opponent of the week to their home away from home in south Philadelphia
and won each game, following up Tuesday's triumph over No. 5 Louisville with
a 75-71 overtime victory over third-ranked Syracuse to hand the Orange their
first conference loss of the season. Ryan Arcidiacono drilled the tying 3-
pointer in the waning seconds to send the contest to overtime for Villanova
and James Bell hit a pair from beyond the arc in the extra period for the
Wildcats (13-7, 4-3 Big East), who had lost three straight entering this week.

Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Otto Porter scored 17 points and grabbed 12
rebounds, leading Georgetown to a 53-51 victory over fifth-ranked Louisville
at the Verizon Center. Markel Starks also scored 17 for the Hoyas (14-4, 4-3
Big East), who have won two straight and four of their last five. Russ Smith,
Luke Hancock and Gorgui Dieng each scored 12 for Louisville (16-4, 4-3),
which has lost three straight for the first time since 2010. The
Cardinals were the top-ranked team in the nation last week, but have since
lost to Syracuse, Villanova and now Georgetown. Peyton Siva failed to score
for Louisville, but the senior had a chance to give the Cardinals the
victory late. He had the ball in the closing seconds trailing 52-51 and
missed a jumper from just inside the arc. Porter was fouled with 1.4
seconds to play and made the first free throw before missing the second.
Without a timeout, Louisville was unable to get more than a three-quarter
court heave as time expired.

University Park, PA (Sports Network) - Sam Thompson paced Ohio State with 16
points as the 14th-ranked Buckeyes rolled past Penn State, 65-51, at the Bryce
Jordan Center. Deshaun Thomas and Lenzelle Smith Jr. followed with 11 points
apiece for Ohio State (15-4, 5-2 Big Ten), which won for the fourth time in
five games. Jermaine Marshall led the Nittany Lions (8-12, 0-8) with 16
points as Penn State dropped its 18th straight meeting with the Buckeyes.
D.J. Newbill added 15 points and six assists in defeat.

assists and No.24 Notre Dame used a strong second half to take down the South
Florida Bulls, 73-65, on Saturday at USF Sun Dome. Tom Knight tallied 17
points on 8-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds, Eric Atkins scored 13
points, Pat Connaughton added 12 and Jack Cooley came away with a
game-high 14 boards for Notre Dame (16-4, 4-3 Big East), which outscored
the Bulls by 15 points over the final 20 minutes. Zach LeDay scored 17
points off the bench to lead South Florida (10-9, 1-6), which has dropped
six of its last seven contests. Anthony Collins finished with 12 points
and eight assists, while Martino Brock and JaVontae Hawkins each poured in 11
points in the setback.
