Logan, UT (Sports Network) - If Utah State has to find a new head football
coach, one coach who could be on the Aggies' radar is Eastern Washington's
Beau Baldwin.
The Aggies will have an opening if Gary Anderson, as reported, leaves to
become Wisconsin's new head coach.
Baldwin, 40, is one the more desired coaches on the FCS level, having led
Eastern Washington to the 2010 national title and into the semifinals this
season. He has a 44-19 record in six seasons with the Eagles.
He also led Central Washington to a 10-3 record and the NCAA Division II
quarterfinals in 2007.
Andersen is expected to take over at Wisconsin after guiding Utah State to an
11-2 record and its first bowl victory in 19 years, 41-15 over Toledo in the
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl last Saturday.
