Wyoming Cowboys invited to Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

BOISE, IDAHO - The Wyoming Cowboys will be playing in a bowl game for the second-straight season. The last time Wyoming made back-to-back bowl games was in 1987 and 1988. 

The Pokes will face off against the Chippewas of Central Michigan of the Mid-American Conference.

This will be the third meeting between the schools. The series is tied 1-1.
    
BOWL HISTORY
    
Wyoming: Second-straight bowl appearance. Wyoming's 15th bowl appearance overall. This is Wyoming's first Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. 
    
Central Michigan: This is the Chippewas' third-straight bowl appearance. Central Michigan lost to Tulsa in the Miami Beach Bowl in 2016 and lost to Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl in 2015. The Chippewas have not won a bowl game since 2012.
