Colorado Eagles fall to Allen in Game 4, still lead series 3-1

KUSA - It wasn't a clean sweep, but the Colorado Eagles are still in great shape.

With a chance to beat the Allen Americans four games to none and advance to the ECHL Western Conference Finals, the Eagles lost Thursday, 4-1.

Now, Colorado has a 3-1 series advantage in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Julien Nantel got Colorado on the board first just four minutes into the game, but from there it was all Allen.

The Americans scored four straight to both avoid elimination, and also keep their hopes of winning their third straight Kelly Cup alive.

The Eagles will look to close out the series Sunday, May 7 at the Budweiser Events Center.
