DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Denver Nuggets home game tickets have the fifth-highest median asking price on the secondary market.
But on the road, when the Nuggets play, they actually drive ticket prices for the fans of the host team down by 20 percent, according to online secondary ticket resale marketplace VividSeats.com, which is based in Chicago. According to ESPN magazine's Ultimate Standings list, the Nuggets are near the bottom of 122 teams, at No. 101 — that is, however, up from last year's No. 119.
Denver’s NBA team — which has one win and two losses so far — has a median ticket asking price for home games of $116, compared to the No. 1 highest median ticket asking price of $224 to see the Golden State Warriors play at home. When the Warriors play away, expect to see a 190 percent increase in the usual ticket price.
Coming in at the bottom of the ticket-price heap is the New Orleans Pelicans, with a median asking price of $52.
