Dodger's Seager hits homer in 10-6 win over Rockies

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies dropped their second game of the season in a 10-6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers at home Sunday afternoon.

The Rockies entered Sunday's game tied for first in the NL West with a 5-1 record along with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Dodgers' scored an early run against Colorado pitcher Tyler Anderson in the top of the first off a double by Justin Turner scoring teammate Logan Forsythe. Anderson had a rough five innings allowing five hits for five runs and four base on balls.

At  the top of the second inning, LA short stop Seager would hit a homerun to center field for the early 4-0 lead.

Rockies' saw a glimpse of offense in the 4th when outfielder Charlie Blackmon hit a home run to center field bringing in two runs, pulling within two.

However, Anderson could not be pulled off the mound quick enough; Forsythe would single on a line drive to Carlos Gonzalez in right field to score Enrique Hernandez for the 5-2 lead in top of the 4th. The Rockies would go to their bullpen in the sixth inning and then two more times after that.

Facing the pitching challenges they had last year, the Rockies allow 10 runs on 15 hits in their second loss of the season. They will face the San Diego Padres at Coors Field tomorrow at 6:40pm.
