Emmanuel Sanders is used to making fans smile--typically when he's on the field and making spectacular catches for the Denver Broncos.
Wednesday night, the wide receiver did a whole lot more giving than receiving, handing out pizza and providing kids the opportunity to see an advanced screening of a movie.
The event was for the Denver Broncos Boys and Girls club--which is meant to help kids attain academic success and become leaders in the community.
"I grew up in the Boys and Girls club, from going there every day after school to being involved," Sanders said. "The Broncos are the only team in the NFL that has a Boys and Girls Club, so I'm just honored to be a part of this one."
Sanders hosted the special night for 100 kids in the area, and after the pizza dinner, everyone sat down to watch King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword.
He was joined on the evening by several of his Broncos teammates.
"I saw those guys walk in and I had to thank them for coming out and showing support," Sanders said. "Not only for me, but for the cause. This is awesome."
