St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola
is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals due to
a right foot injury he sustained in the team's most recent contest.
Amendola hurt his foot late in the first half of last Sunday's 27-13 home loss
to the New York Jets. The slot specialist did return to action on the Rams'
first series of the third quarter, but was held out of practice the entire
week and is listed as doubtful on the final injury report.
The four-year pro leads the Rams with 50 catches and 538 receiving yards
despite missing three games with a fractured collarbone earlier in the season.
Amendola suffered that injury in St. Louis' last meeting with Arizona, a 17-3
Rams' victory on Oct. 4.
Amendola came back for St. Louis' Week 10 matchup at San Francisco and came
through with 11 receptions totaling 102 yards in a 24-24 tie against the NFC
West-leading 49ers.
In other team injury news, linebacker Mario Haggan has been ruled out for
Sunday's game after dislocating his right elbow against the Jets. Tight end
Lance Kendricks, who's dealing with a knee problem, is questionable.
Running back Steven Jackson (foot), however, is probable to face the Cardinals
after putting in limited practices the last two days.
