Cherry Creek's offense dominates in win over Prairie View

HENDERSON - The Cherry Creek Bruins put up six touchdowns in their 44-13 victory over Prairie View Friday night.

Quarterback Trey Windham threw for 188 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Alec Pell, and Marcus Miller, Nick Williams and Connor Till all added one on the ground in their team's win.

The highlight of the game, however, came in the fourth quarter when Prairie View sent in team manager Patrick McKinney. McKinney, who has cerebral palsy and is wheelchair bound, scored the final touchdown of the night with the help of his teammates and the Bruins.

Cherry Creek improves to 6-3 on the season, and will play the Far Northeast Warriors next Thursday in the regular season finale.
