ARVADA-- The Eaton Reds volleyball team had gone a year without tasting defeat before finally falling in their first match of the 2016 season on August 27.
Three straight convincing wins later, and it looks like it might take another year for them to lose again.
On the road against the Faith Christian Eagles, Eaton continued its dominance with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday night.
Despite a raucous Eagles crowd, the Reds were simply too much for the home team.
Eaton got off to a start in the match, winning the first set 25-12 thanks to some powerful kills from Makenzie Harris and Tarynn Sieg.
From there, the Eagles made things interesting in the next two sets, going back-and-forth with the Reds in some long and competitive rallies.
Ryanne Ferro and Kayla Hachen both had some stellar moments in the match for the Eagles.
But in the end, Eaton looked like the team that went undefeated and won the 3A state championship in 2015, winning each of the next two sets by a score of 25-17.
