LOVELAND -- The Mountain View Mountain Lions capped their regular season with a 56-33 victory over a talented Skyline Falcons team on Thursday night.
Entering the game with a 4-5 overall record, the Mountain Lions' used a hurry-up offense to keep the tempo high and get running back, Tommy Hochheimer, as many carries as possible against the 7-2 Falcons.
After a defensive interception by Mountain View, the Mountain Lions were able to keep Skyline guessing as they scored on their first offensive; however, Skyline would call right back on an outside toss after kick off that would be returned for a Falcon touchdown.
Right off the kick the game the game had the makings of an offensive frenzy between the two.
After the first half, Mountain View lead Skyline 28-13.
In the second, Mountain Lions picked up where they left off continuing to put points on the board, out scoring the Falcon's talented runner, Nathan Higgins who also reached the end zone a few times in the game.
Mountain View's Hochheimer and Reid Nichols would be the two main offensive scorers for the Mountain Lions in their 56-33 victory over Skyline.
