GREENWOOD VILLAGE -- The No. 6 Arapahoe Warriors push a 5th set after previously trailing 2-0 to the Cherry Creek Bruins for the 3-2 win.

In the first set, the Bruins outlasted the Warriors in a back-and-forth set. The two teams were tied 23-23, neither leading by more than a couple points until Cherry Creek pulled away from there for the 25-23 win.

Creek sophomore, Katie Sherman, helped her team in both the first and second sets with big kills to pull ahead. The second set belonged to the Bruins, taking an easy 25-14 win to go up 2-0.

Perseverance and positivity brought Arapahoe our from what seemed like a loss after dropping the second set; however, they were able to fight back taking the third set 25-22.

Riding the momentum from the previous set win, Arapahoe continued to battle to lead early in the fourth. The Bruin's didn't bow down though pulling within one (21-22), but it was too late. Arapahoe ties up the series 2-2 to force a fifth set.

Eventually it's Warrior's senior Jayden Liberty with the powerful, important kill to give her team the 15-11 set win for a 3-2 comeback against Cherry Creek.

Warriors' senior, Killy Winz, lead the team in kills with 25 total after five sets of play.
