No. 7 Broomfield hands No. 1 Loveland their first loss this season

Broomfield vs Loveland football

LOVELAND -- The No. 7 ranked Broomfield Eagles handed the No. 1 ranked Loveland Indians their first loss this season with a strong running game.

Both teams took the field ready to run the ball. Loveland running back, Noah Pangrac, leads the state in touchdowns and has a total of 1,050 yards so far this season. Tonight the Eagles made it more difficult for Pangrac.

The senior running back found holes throughout the game for chunks of yardage, but was unable to find the end zone.

Broomfield running back's Tanner Garner and Jalon Torres both ran for an impressive yardage to help move the chains down the field. Eventually their running would help get the Eagles into the end zone, while their defense did their job on the opposite side of the ball.

Broomfield would score in the first and would strike again late in the fourth for the two score lead.

The Eagles would shut down the Loveland offense and hand them their first loss of the season 14-0.
