AURORA -- The No. 4 seeded Regis Jesuit Raiders jumped on the No. 13 seeded Fairview Knights from the start with a 28-0 lead in the first quarter.
They took no time in the second quarter getting on the board yet again to take a 34-0 lead.
The Knights struggled to find any rhythm in their passing game and also recorded three interceptions in the first half.
Taking advantage of their opponents mistakes, the Raiders' running backs took to care of the ball on offense as well as added some flare to their runs. An array of jukes and speed abetted backs Kiahn Martinez, Alfred Jones and DJ Jackson to the end zone for the big lead.
Fairview fought back hard in the final quarter, putting up two scores to pull within 20 points; however, they weren't able to catch the Raiders.
Regis Jesuit wins to advance to the quarterfinals against the Eaglecrest Raptors.
