Saturday Prep Rally (9/17/16)

KUSA - The Saturday morning Prep Rally included highlights from homecoming football games, boys' soccer, volleyball and softball.

North Stadium in Westminster was packed to the brim with fans out to support Legacy High School, as they hosted Prairie View in their homecoming game. The Lightning made the decision as a team this week to play, following Sunday's bus crash at Denver International Airport.

In 5A, No. 9 Eaglecrest looked to upset No. 4 Grandview, a team that hadn't defeated in seven years. Finally, Legend played Castle View High School in its homecoming match-up.

Last week, we saw a lot of movement in the boys' soccer rankings. This week, we could see more. After falling out of the 4A top 10, Niwot hosted No. 2 ranked Peak to Peak (3A).

Denver School of Science and Technology Stapleton played a back-and-forth match with St. Mary's Academy, and Rock Canyon pitcher Sydney Marchando battled it out with her Heritage counterpart, Emily Womeldorff in a close game.
