Valor Christian headed to first Final Four

Valor Christian beat Sand Creek 67-60 in a 4A Great Eight game Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.

This will be the Lady Eagles first trip to the Final Four in program history. They were led by Caroline Bryan's 22 points. Kendall Bradbury (14) and Madison McCoy (13) were also in double figures.

Oklahoma State commit Mikayla Reese was the Scorpions leading scorer with 13 points but she only shot 5-of-17 from the field.

Sand Creek's season ends with (22-4) record. Those 22 wins include a 67-34 win over Valor Christian in early January.

The Eagles won the game that counted however. They will take on the winner of Broomfield and Palmer ridge next Thursday at the Final Four in Boulder.
