RTD offers Rockies opening day rides

DENVER - Looking for a way to head down to the Rockies home opener? RockiesRide is here for you.

RTD will be dropping off fans with its RockiesRide service 30-60 minutes prior to the first pitch.

Passengers can jump on the direct service marked with a "CR" to and from Coors Field 60-115 minutes prior to the game from four different Park-n-Ride locations in Thornton, Longmont, Wagon Road, and Coffman.

Round-trip passengers will pay between $5.20 and $9 depending on pick up location but will need exact cash, or can use a Special Service Free Ride, but RTD passes, tickets, and transfers are not accepted. Children 5 years or younger are free with a fare-paying adult

After the game, passengers can jump back on the proper bus at the 22nd and Black parking lot.

The last RockiesRide bus leaves 45 minutes after the game ends.
