Denver puts four players on All-American teams

On the verge of a third Final Four appearance in four seasons, the Denver Pioneers announced the names of four players selected to this year's USILA All-America teams:

-Senior Jeremy Noble was selected to the Second Team, his third selection to an All-America team in his four year career.

-Junior Wes Berg was named to Third Team, only one year after being named Honorable Mention in 2013.

-Junior Erik Adamson and freshman Christian Bergdorf were both named to the Honorable Mention squad. Adamson's selection comes just days after his six-goal performance helped push the Pioneers past Drexel and into the Final Four.

Denver will look to earn their first NCAA Championship this weekend, with the defending champion Duke Blue Devils up first in the semifinal match-up.

"As this time of the year rolls around, the Denver Pioneers are excited to be still playing lacrosse on Memorial Day Weekend," said head coach Bill Tierney in a statement. "As always, great teams are represented on All-America lists, by great players. These four young men are outstanding athletes, but better people. They and their teammates have made DU Lacrosse history in so many ways this season, and hope to continue their great ride this weekend."
