Lifetime college fans share bracket tips

CENTENNIAL – With the clock ticking to make picks for this year's NCAA tournament, the residents at Holly Creek Retirement Community are getting some help.

Holly Creek has its own in-house radio station hosted by residents. Each week three residents host a sports show. This week's topic was 'bracketology."

The guys suggested starting with final four picks, then filling out the rest of the bracket. One even suggested picking a "sleeper" team from each conference.

The show even got some help from a former college basketball player. Guy Mabry played for Kansas when he was a Jayhawk in the 50s.

His secret to picking a winning bracket: there is no secret.

"I've found that I get my buddies to fill out a bracket and their wives," Mabry said. "Then I usually bet on the wives side because they come a lot closer."
