DENVER - Former Oakland Raider Shelby Harris joined Emmanuel Sanders on the Broncos Huddle Wednesday to talk about taking on his former team and putting an end to that six game losing streak. As bad as it's been, Harris pointed out it could be a lot worse. He was 0-10 at one point in Oakland. In 2014, the Raiders didn't win their first game until late November.
Sanders and Harris also talked the changes the Broncos have made to try to get back on track with a new offensive coordinator and a new quarterback. Sanders says he's excited to see what Paxton Lynch can do, even though he knows there will be some growing pains. The Raiders may be the perfect opponent for Paxton. Oakland has yet to have an interception this season.
Harris and Sanders spent the Tech Time portion of the program talking about getting to the quarterback, something the Denver defense will need to do on Sunday.
The Broncos Huddle airs every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. on 9News and again at 10:30 p.m. on Channel 20.
