KUSA - The Denver defense was in the spotlight on Sunday when the Broncos beat the Indianapolis Colts -- and they were the big talk Wednesday night on the Broncos Huddle as cornerback Aqib Talib joined co-host Emmanuel Sanders on the show.
Talib became the Broncos all-time leader for interceptions for a touchdown with his fifth pick-six with the team. Talib also has nine in his NFL career, which is tied for third best of all-time.
The Denver defense has said they won’t need to be as dominant as they were in last year’s Super Bowl season because they expect the offense will be better, but so far they have just as good.
Talib’s touchdown was one of two by the defense against Indianapolis. Von Miller sealed the game with his third sack of Andrew Luck -- a strip sack that Shane Ray turned into a scoop and score.
Talib shared some of his techniques for success in the show. The cornerback talked about defending the stock block plus, of course, how he is able to break free and take it to the house over and over again.
The Broncos Huddle airs every Wednesday night on 9NEWS at 6:30 p.m.
