Bird's eye view of Broncos construction

ENGLEWOOD - The Denver Broncos are rebuilding. Not just on the field, but high above it, and all around as well. The team's $35-million new complex is taking shape.

"It's one of those things you get to brag about for years to come," said Foreman Nils Schear. "Everytime you drive by, you get to look at it and say 'I was a part of that.' It's a good feeling."

The project has everyone's attention. You can't miss it. It can also be a little distracting to those on the field and high above it as well.

"I've been looking over there from time to time to see a couple of passes," admitted Adam Burbridge, a Lead Pusher for Total Welding.

"I do catch those guys watching," joked Broncos tight end Julius Thomas. "As long as there are no [Oakland] Raider fans, [Kansas City] Chiefs fans or [San Diego] Chargers fans, only die hard Broncos fans are allowed."

The new project will not be done in time for fans to watch training camp this year, but they say it'll all be worth it for years to come.
