KUSA - The Denver Broncos are getting in the Thanksgiving spirit.

The Superbowl 50 champs are taking part in two different events Tuesday to help provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need.

This morning, players helped distribute turkeys alongside the Denver Rescue Mission at Mile High Stadium. They distributed over 2,500 turkeys and food boxes to pre-registered families from 8 a.m. to noon.

And it appears they had plenty of fun while doing it.

After that, the Broncos are heading to the Colorado Convention Center to help prepare meals for the annual Thanksgiving meal at the Salvation Army.

They're making traditional Thanksgiving dishes and desserts that will serve about 1,300 Denver residents on Thanksgiving Day.
