ESPN uses dramatic Third Eye Blind song to tease Osweiler's return to Denver

KUSA - It is a truth universally acknowledged that Third Eye Blind makes everything (including breakups) just a touch more dramatic (and better).

Such was the case when ESPN used Third Eye Blind’s classic song “How’s It Gonna Be” to tease Brock Osweiler’s return to Denver (for the record, you can catch the Houston Texans vs. the Denver Broncos Monday night at 6:30 p.m. right here on Channel 20).

Honestly, it’s hard to put into words how great this is. Watch the video – which does a very good job trolling Osweiler – below:

Very, very well-played.

Both the Broncos and Texans are 4-2. You might remember how Osweiler, the heir-apparent to Denver’s quarterback throne after Peyton Manning’s retirement, bolted for Houston in the off-season.

While there (probably) aren’t hard feelings between the two parties, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall made the defense’s plan for Monday night very clear.

“We know Brock,” Marshall said. “He came here and we just want to kill him. That’s what we want to do.”

Again ... you can catch the game at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 20. Bring the popcorn. And the Third Eye Blind.
