Crime Stoppers tips credited for finding stolen Broncos helmet

KUSA - Almost two months later, deputies have recovered a Denver Broncos helmet stolen at a fan signing.

On July 31, a player told authorities he set his helmet down while tending to fans. When he went to grab it later, he said it was gone.

The helmet stolen, a Riddell Revolution Speed Classic, was valued at more than $400. The sheriff's office released a photo of the suspect who they said left the facility with a family. He's been issued a summons for arrest.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office tweeted that Crime Stoppers tips led authorities to the suspect, whose name has not been released.
