ESPN sideline reporter Sergio Dipp was trending on Twitter last week after delivering an awkward report during a “Monday Night Football” contest between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.
Part of Dipp’s report was that coach Vance Joseph was “having the time of his life,” a line that blew up social media. After the Broncos defeated the Dallas Cowboys 42-17 at home in Week 2, Dipp took to social media to make a playful jab at the situation and himself:
I tried to tell you all...— Sergio Dipp (@SergioADippW) September 18, 2017

It’s great to see that Dipp is handling the situation well. A host of media members took to Twitter to defend Dipp after his sideline report went viral last week.
Denver is now 2-0 and they’ll face the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 3. The Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders are also 2-0 but the Broncos’ division win over the Chargers gives them an early lead in the AFC West.
