KUSA - Von Miller’s six year, $114,500,000 contract with the Denver Broncos is a lot of money – about three times more than the 2015 GDP of the Polynesian island nation of Tuvalu, in fact.
How is Miller spending that pile of cash? Well, at least part of it is going toward his devotion to glasses and shoes.
During a conversation with DeMarcus Ware, the linebacker admitted to having more than 120 pairs of glasses … and 800 pairs of shoes.
“I don’t wanna think it’s over the top,” Miller said. “I wear glasses every single day, and I got a lot of outfits and stuff that I would like my glasses to match with.
“I don’t think my glasses are over the top.”
He did have one caveat.
“Maybe my shoes are,” he admitted. “Maybe my shoes and glasses are a little over the top – but my shoes and glasses are what makes me Von.”
Point taken. Enjoy the shoes and glasses, Von. And for the record, Tuvalu's GDP last year was $38.32 million.
