Kapri Bibbs' success in Oakland earns him a spot on the Broncos Huddle -- and on the field

DENVER - The Broncos ground game has been AWOL often this season, but one of their running backs did break one big play in Oakland.  Kapri Bibbs scored on a 69-yard screen pass.

"I wish it would have come at a brighter time but at the same time it was a play that we needed," Bibbs said.  "I have to score touchdowns, that's what I've always done and will continue to do that to be a difference maker.  That's a big difference between losing games 7 points or 3 points."

Bibbs returned kicks as well for the Broncos on Sunday.  His playing time has certainly increased and based on his performance against the Raiders, it sounds like Gary Kubiak will keep adding to that.

"He deserves a shot. Kid’s been working his tail off, doing some good stuff. We want to give him opportunities. He had a big run on a third-and-1 that I’m thinking of," Kubiak said. "Makes a hell of a play and then I look up and he jumps out there to cover the kick. That’s the kind of players you need on your team, so I’m proud of him. He’s done a good job. He deserves some more.”

Bibbs joined Emmanuel Sanders and Rod Mackey on the Broncos Huddle Wednesday night to discuss all things football.  The Broncos Huddle re-airs at 10:30 p.m. on Channel 20.
