It's tough enough to stop one DeMarcus Ware from getting to the quarterback. And now the Broncos have two.
"Some of the moves that he was doing on tape were some of the moves that I have been doing," Ware said of watching film with Von Miller and him emulating the former Cowboys defensive end.
Miller is a Texas native and looked up to Ware – watching the 7-time Pro Bowler and trying to take after him in every way. The two had become friends as Miller entered the National Football League but Ware did not want to reveal too many of his secrets.
Now that they are on the same team, Ware and Miller are able to discuss techniques.
"I was critiquing him, he was critiquing me," Ware said. The two have a combined 152.0 sacks in their careers. Though Ware holds a vast majority of those quarterback take-downs, he is also has been in the league much longer and able to guide one of the league's most-dynamic pass rushers.
"Now I have an opportunity to shed some advice onto him. He is a great player and I look forward to playing with him this season," he continued.
Teams won't be able to double-team both defensive ends. They'll have to choose to try to slow down Ware or Ware – I mean, Miller.
