Old Spice rewards Brandon Marshall for Von Miller impersonation

USA TODAY SPORTS - Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall dressed up as teammate Von Miller for Halloween party last month, complete with a cowboy hat and Old Spice bottle. The costume was perfect — Miller is a cowboy at heart and he’s made many commercials with Old Spice.

The marketing department at Old Spice apparently appreciated Marshall’s costume and sent him a package of products with this note:

Ahoy, Brandon (or should we say Von?):

The Old Spice crew saw your hilarious Von Miller Halloween costume. Good to know that Von has a stunt double if we ever need one! The mustache and tattoos were spot on. To be honest, though, the dance moves could use some work.

In the event that Von is not sharing his Old Spice (we would hope that he is after that legendary costume), we’re sending you your very own Old Spice stash. We heard that when you smell like one of your fellow linebackers you can dance like them, too.

Hope these products keep you smelling fresh, feeling good and performing your best through the rest of the season! And remember . . . even if the Broncos don’t win this Sunday, at least you single-handedly won Halloween.

Your Friends,

The Old Spice Team

Kudos to Old Spice for some great marketing and kudos to Marshall for his brilliant impersonation of Miller. Well done across the board, folks.
