NFL kickoff concert at Civic Center Park

9NEWS at 6 a.m. 9/8/16.

Thursday, a pair of free concerts will take place at the NFL's Kickoff Village set up in Denver's Civic Center Park.

Fans will not be able to watch the game there, but they will get to see performances by OneRepublic and Dierks Bentley.

9NEWS talked to both and found out Dierks has one of the best invites for watching the game.

"[Peyton Manning] said yeah come watch the game with him and his wife. He said he sent me an email with tickets. I have yet to see the email, so I may be watching it from the hotel room." Dierks said with a smile. "Hopefully he comes through in time. If not, it'd be kind of sad. But hopefully they come through and I get a chance to watch this great game with arguably one of  the greatest players to ever play!"

OneRepublic is playing again during halftime at the stadium. The Denver-based group says they're careful about showing their Bronco pride in Carolina these days.

"We can't go into Durham with our orange and blue. He's got family there. You'll get the Tar-HEEL kicked out of you!" the band said.

Remember, the game will not be shown at Civic Center Park, and the park will be cleared right at kickoff.

Planning on making the trip out to see the concert? The NFL has some tips to make this your best experience.
