MacKinnon surpasses Gretzky in point streak

Nathan MacKinnon recorded a point – an assist with less than a minute remaining in overtime to help the Avalanche beat the Red Wings – to advance his point streak to 13 games. He now has more consecutive games with a point as an 18 year old than Gretzky did.
