Outlaws lose first regular season game since June 2012

This hasn't happened to the Denver Outlaws in 714 days.

On Saturday night in Charlotte, the Outlaws suffered their first regular season loss in two seasons, an 18-15 defeat against the Hounds. Their last loss occurred on June 23rd, 2012.

The Outlaws and Hounds played each other for the second time in eight days, with the Outlaws edging out the Hounds 13-11 last Friday in their first match-up. The Hounds led by one goal in the fourth quarter of last Friday's game before the Outlaws scored three unanswered to complete the comeback.

With veteran goalie Jesse Schwartzman on the bench, the Outlaws gave up six goals in the fourth quarter. Recently acquired attack Curtis Dickson scored four goals, and added an assist, for a team-high five points in his first game with the Outlaws.

The Outlaws return home on Saturday, June 14 at 7 p.m. MDT against the New York Lizards.
